    Communications

With responsibilities including this website and the quarterly PC Newsletter, the Communication group are determined to offer a useful level of information to our resident’s. And of interest to boot!

The regular Residents’ Meetings, held at different venues around the parish, offer an opportunity for everyone to become involved in Parish affairs and on subjects that educate and entertain.

Communication Group members are: Cllrs. Keith Woolford/lead, John Williams and Leanne Ling. With skills developed over the years in page layout, design, IT and presentation etc. we are confident that we can maintain a high standard for the future.

In developing the PC Newsletter, we aim to offer a friendly and readable publication about the area and, hopefully, encourage our residents to participate and contribute.

The Residents’ Meetings, which have included topics like Health & Leisure, Community Power, Dig for Victory, Safety & Security, Transport & Housing and the Mapping our Parish project, have been purposely diverse. Our next RM will see the newly elected Sajid Javid MP give a talk on his fist 80 days plus a chance of asking questions.

We intend to re-establish the PACT meeting for both Lickey and Blackwell areas in the near future.

For those wishing to voice any concerns, potential issues or just to shower an in inordinate amount of well deserved praise on PC activities, there are the usual channels open via the Executive Officer, the Ward Councillors – but why not use our PC Blog!

We understand the importance and benefit of local groups and would be delighted to hear from you. Have your interest recorded on our special page on this site and perhaps an article in a forthcoming edition of the PC Newsletter.
