Welcome to our 2 new Councillors Josh Gwilliam and Neil Schroeder. And a sad farewell to our long standing retiring Councillors Janet King, Jill Harvey and Peter Harvey. Thank you all for your many years of service to the local community.

Thanks everyone who attended the afternoon tea and tree planting at the Wheel at St Catherine’s Church, Blackwell for the Coronation. Many thanks to volunteers from the Church and Sue Watson for helping to organise and run this event, and well done to all those who completed the treasure hunt and who raised funds for charity and the Church during the event.

Parish Council elections will not be taking place on 4th May. We have an uncontested election! Please see the following links for the notices which are also displayed in the Ward notice boards. Thanks to those who have decided to come forward. Congratulations!

There will continue to be NO parking charges on Lickey Hills. Thank you to all who responded to the consultation to Birmingham City Council who have now been discouraged from this scheme.

Our Calendar of meetings 2023-2024 is now available, also our Parish 2023 Calendar is available to download. Thanks to all who entered the photo of the month competition.

Residents Afternoon Tea this will be taking place on Monday 3rd July at the Old Rose and Crown in Lickey. Please contact us if you would like to attend.

Best Front Garden Competition Councillors and volunteers will be walking around the parish early in June/late May to spy the best front gardens in our beautiful parish. We will have a prize ceremony for the lucky winners at the Trinity Church, Lickey on 6th June. Good luck!

Parish Litter Pick. This is an annual event in Lickey at the Park Visitors’ Centre and in Blackwell. We had a successful event on Saturday 25th March as part of the GBSSpring Clean. Thanks to all who took part.
