Following a referendum on the 12th December 2019, in which more than half of those who voted did so in favour of the neighbourhood plan, Bromsgrove District Council has decided to make the Lickey & Blackwell and Cofton Hackett Neighbourhood Plan 2018-2030 part of the Development Plan for the District. This decision was taken at the Full Council meeting on 22nd January 2020.
A local initiative with Cofton Hackett and our Parish Council to benefit the area led by Cllr. Nick Forknell. Nick and the team worked hard to get the Plan accepted by the District Council. Our referendum on 12th December had a resounding ‘Yes’ vote, with a turnout of 71% of residents in the Neighbourhood Plan area, of which 87% voted YES. The document now been accepted by the District Council and carries weight in planning matters in the Parishes.

Clent and Lickey Hills Landscape Study – CPRE Worcestershire has commissioned a Landscape Value Areas Study for the Clent and Lickey Hills from landscape architects.
